Why Invest in Wellness?

The holidays are busy, stressful, and often our most indulgent time of year, BUT, they’re also the perfect time to reset and prepare for a healthier, more balanced new year. Giving the gift of wellness isn’t just thoughtful—it’s transformative.

Join My FREE 12 Days of Wellness Challenge:

This holiday season, in addition to shopping for everyone on your list, let’s take a few moments each day to focus on YOU. My 12 Days of Wellness Challenge is packed with simple, healthy core habits to help you stay energized, reduce stress, and enjoy the magic of the season without feeling overwhelmed.

Each day starting Sunday Dec 1st I will send a fun, free daily email series that delivers small, actionable wellness tips over twelve days. In addition, these emails will include holiday deals and insights into my personal strategies that have helped me the most through my wellness journey. This is a fantastic gift for yourself or anyone who wants a little extra support staying healthy through the holiday season and into the new year! Think of it as your calm before the chaos and join today.

Additionally, by signing up and participating daily, you’ll have the chance to win my 12 Weeks of Wellness Program. It’s an expanded version of the FREE challenge designed to help you kick off January with intention and purpose. This program is all about creating sustainable habits that empower you to feel your best all year long. Furthermore, if you join before your 12 days of wellness ends you will get the expanded program at a discount. Here’s what you need to do.

How it works:

  • Register here!
  • Then, confirm your email address (check spam/junk folders just in case)
  • Next, follow along with the challenge each day through email. I will send an email a day for 12 days with one health task to accomplish for that day. Some of the things we will touch upon are hydration, sleep habits, and self-care. They will be quick and easy, NOT overwhelming.
  • Finally, share your progress on social media with the hashtags #smalldailyhabits #12daysofwellness and if social media isn’t your thing, you can check in with me daily through email.

That’s it! Then at the end of December I will announce one lucky winner from all the participants who completed the program. The winner will begin the 12-week challenge in January and will set the tone for your healthiest year yet! I may even have a few other surprises along the way, you’ll just have to join to find out. A Side Note About my Challenges:

I know for some of you the word challenge presents a feeling of competitiveness. If you aren’t a competitive person rest assured that what I mean by challenge is that there is going to be some level of effort on your part that you are not used to giving in this area of your life.

The tasks I ask you to do on these challenges will be simple. I will give step-by-step, clear instructions but they won’t necessarily be easy to implement. If they were, you’d be doing them already and you wouldn’t need me.

To me, I am challenging you to do something different. To be the best version of yourself. The competition is against yourself to be a better version than you were yesterday.

So, if you struggle with the idea of being competitive know that I am only suggesting that you up your game in a way that best serves you. You know you best so move forward accordingly and challenge yourself to become the best version of YOU!

And for those that love a little friendly competition, grab your girlfriends and let the games begin! Take a look at all the services I have to offer and decide what fits into your life right now.

Ultimate Black Friday Guide:

Ok so now that we talked about how I can support you and your loved ones this holiday season, let’s talk about how to take your gift giving to a whole new level with these pampering experiences. Book appointments for your whole girl tribe and make a day of it! Here are some tried and true favorites as well as some new ideas that are on my list of things to try.

  • Sound Bath Experience
  • Exercise classes that are fun and exciting and motivate your loved ones to move more, like yoga, Pilates, Zumba, and of course 1-1 coaching with me where I can incorporate all of the above using my personal training and dance background.

Any kind of pampering is always a nice way to treat yourself as well as those on your nice list. These services reduce stress and increases rest and recovery. In this busy world it’s rare we get the opportunity to slow down, sit still, and just breathe. In fact, I’ve gotten the best sleep I have ever gotten on nights I attended a sound bath or received a massage. I highly recommend!

New Experiences I Look Forward to Trying:

Salt therapy helps with breathing issues, skin conditions, and even inflammation and joint pain. It can also reduce stress, induce better sleep, and even help with peak performance. If you are in Palm Beach Countycheck out The Salt Suite for more info. They also have red light therapy, infrared therapy, and therapy for children and pets. This one came highly recommended by a local mom’s group and I’ve already booked my first appointment. I’ll let you know how it goes!

Red light therapy helps with healthy skin including reducing wrinkles and increasing collagen. It’s also known to decrease sore muscles, heal wounds, support your immune system, and help with more restful sleep. I can’t decide which one I need more. Salt or red-light therapy so I just might do both then compare and contrast them on one of my episodes.

My favorite part about experience gifts is that you can get the gift for both of you. Go an experience this healthy adventure together!

Wellness-Boosting Products:

While I love giving the gift of experiences, they can get expensive and sometimes you just want to stay in budget or wrap something up and put it under the tree. So here are my thoughts on giving the gift of wellness when it comes to actual products.

A lot of these aren’t very sexy unfortunately but if you have someone in your life who is on a wellness journey they will truly appreciate them more than you know. These kinds of gifts show that you are listening to them and got something that is supporting their health efforts.

What Influenced my Choices:

Around the time I turned 40, my body began changing due to hormone fluctuation that occurs during perimenopause. I don’t believe I actually began perimenopause until about 1.5 -2 years ago but there were small signs that my body was changing and slowing down a bit prior to that.

This forced me to take a look at what was contributing to my symptoms and go looking for root causes. Therefore, I began making lifestyle changes and product swaps to move me forward on my health journey. For me, that meant taking a look at the amount of chemicals I was using in my home, on my body, and in my food.

I don’t say this to imply you need to go out and change everything you love, I’m just saying if you and the people on your list are feeling unsupported by your current lifestyles choices and products you use daily then here are some swaps you can make over the next year or so to help you feel your very best. These are the products that have made a huge difference in my life.

Norwex Cleaning Products:

I just moved, and a lot of cleaning has happened over the last few months, and I am so glad that I had my trusty, silver infused, Norwex microfiber cloths and enzyme-based cleaning products by my side.

I have been using Norwex since 2015 (I am a consultant so I might be biased but I’ve been using the same products for over a decade, so I think that speaks volumes) and I clean the majority of my home with just water and my cloths. If you have never heard of Norwex this might sound too good to be true. For my skeptics, here is a video explaining how Norwex works and why you are going to fall in love with it.

This has been a HUGE game changer for me in reducing the chemical overload on my body and in my home. It has helped me balance my hormones and upgrade my skincare routine over the years. I highly recommend starting with the Safe Haven 5 Package to get you started on your healthy cleaning journey and the Naturally Timeless Set for skincare. There are many other well-loved products but these will get you started on your journey to becoming a customer for life!

Essential Oils:

Great for aromatherapy and relaxation. I use mine to scent my wool dryer balls, so I get a fresh scent without all the chemicals. I also love to diffuse them instead of using plug in or spray air fresheners. You can get you or your loved ones their favorite scents in a healthier form to support their ongoing health journey. I like Young Living but there are many companies out there with high quality oils. If you need to be connected to a Young Living Consultant let me know, I know several in different locations. Support a local small business owner by going directly through a local consultant!

Non-Toxic Cookware:

Upgrade with glass or stainless steel to replace plastics or add cast iron pans for healthier cooking. Again, you don’t have to replace everything all at once. A good rule of thumb is to replace one thing at a time as things break or wear out and need replacing. There are so many options here that it’s hard to recommend unless I know what you are looking for. Feel free to reach out with questions.

All-Natural Skin Care and Make-up:

Treat yourself or a loved one to clean beauty products to cut down on the chemical overload in our bodies. Our skin is our biggest organ, treat it with care. Things to upgrade include but are not limited to natural deodorant, natural soaps, face cleansers and creams, haircare products, body lotion, and make-up. These products tend to be very individual so this may be an area you need to experiment with.

Workout Equipment:

Is someone on your list on a mission to upgrade their wellness routine? Get equipment tailored to their needs, from heavier free weights for someone who wants to gain muscle, to a balance board for someone in menopause struggling with balance issues. The choices are endless, if you have something specific in mind you are shopping for, reach out for suggestions at [email protected].

Workout Clothes:

A cute new outfit that inspires confidence and motivation is always a welcomed gift! What’s your loved ones favorite color? Material? Brand? Size? Ask some questions or go shopping together to pick them out. It can be an experience gift AND a gift to open under the tree. I recently purchased from Halara and I loved the yoga pants and tanks I got! I needed to make a return and their customer service was great. I’ve also had great luck with Zyia Active Wear, their everyday pants are my favorite.
